STATEMENT OF FAITH

GOD

We believe there is only one real, living God, who created and rules over everything in the universe. God has always existed as three distinct persons in one: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. The Bible shows us that God is completely pure and set apart, in complete control of all things, and all-powerful. He is all-knowing, present everywhere, and lives forever without ever changing. Above all, He is defined by His love, fairness, goodness, mercy, and complete truthfulness. [1]

JESUS CHRIST

We believe that Jesus Christ existed before creation and is the eternal Son of God. He became human to show us who God is and to save us from sin. As God, He is fully equal with the Father and the Holy Spirit. His human life began miraculously through the power of the Holy Spirit, and He was born to a virgin named Mary. Jesus lived a completely sinless life, then voluntarily gave Himself up to die on a cross as the perfect payment for the sins of everyone. Three days later, He rose back to life, proving His complete power over sin and death. Afterward, He returned to heaven, and He will come back one day to rule over all as King and Lord. [2]

THE HOLY SPIRIT

We believe that the Holy Spirit is fully God, equal in every way with the Father and the Son. He works in the world to help people see their sin and recognize their need for Jesus as Savior. The moment someone trusts in Christ for salvation, the Holy Spirit comes to live inside them permanently. He gives Christians the strength to live daily life, helps them understand God's truth, and guides them in making right choices. Additionally, He gives special spiritual abilities to every believer and equips them to serve others and carry out God's work. [3]

THE BIBLE

We believe that the complete Bible—made up of the Old and New Testaments—is God’s message to all humanity. Human authors wrote it under the guidance of the Holy Spirit, meaning that the words in the original writings are completely true and without error. The Bible does not just contain moral lessons; it is literally God’s Word, making it the final authority for everything Christians believe and how we live. Every single part of the Bible—whether history, poetry, teaching, or prophecy—is equally inspired by God. [4]

SIN, SALVATION, & ETERNITY

We believe that sin is an inherently unique human desire to violate God’s commands. Because of this, every human being is born separated from God and is completely unable to earn salvation, avoid God's judgment, or gain right standing with Him through good deeds, moral living, or religious effort. With the Holy Spirit living inside, believers are given victory over sin, and their daily desire should be to obey God’s Word, live righteously, and avoid sin and its harmful consequences.

Salvation from the power and penalty of sin comes only through the blood of Jesus Christ, who died on the cross in our place and took our sin upon Himself. Salvation is a free gift from God that anyone can receive. When a person chooses to turn away from a self-ruled life in repentance and place their trust in Jesus Christ alone for forgiveness, they are spiritually born again. God forgives all their sins, credits Christ's righteousness to them, and declares them right in His sight.

Ultimately, every person will exist forever in one of two realities: either eternally separated from God by sin in Hell, or eternally united with Him in Heaven through His forgiveness and salvation. [5]
